Elevation: Growing Myself to Grow My Business — Full Circle

Professional development isn’t just about checking a box or attending a workshop — it’s about staying teachable, curious, and committed to becoming the kind of leader your business, your team, and your purpose deserve.


That’s why I joined the UPS Elevation Program, a professional development initiative powered by UPS and the Greater Women’s Business Council (GWBC). This experience reminded me that true growth starts with clarity — understanding not only where you’re going, but what needs to be protected and strengthened along the way.


I took lessons from every module and turned them into action: protecting my brands through trademark research, strengthening digital security and systems, creating a five-year growth plan, refining my finances with an accountant, and preparing for future partnerships and opportunities.


But more than anything, this program helped me pause, reflect, and remember that elevation isn’t just rising higher — it’s growing stronger and leading smarter.


As entrepreneurs, we often pour into everything and everyone else. But growth begins when we pour back into ourselves.
